TRW unit opens China plant
LANGFANG, China - TRW Automotive Holdings Corp.'s Engineered Fasteners and Components unit has opened a plant here.
TRW Automotive Components (Langfang) Co. Ltd. will make interior components such as air registers and center bezels. The plant has 20 injection-molding machines but could increase that number to 50 by 2008. The plant is expected to employ up to 100 by the end of 2007.
TRW, of Livonia, Mich., supplies steering, suspension, braking and engine components, and occupant restraint systems.
