D&M Holdings buys Philips unit
TOKYO - D&M Holdings Inc. has completed the purchase of Philips Sound Solutions from Royal Philips Electronics. D&M Holdings has renamed the company D&M Premium Sound Solutions.
D&M Holdings, of Kawasaki, Japan, supplies audio and video components for the auto and residential markets. Philips Sound Solutions, of Dendermonde, Belgium, is known for hi-fi audio products.
Delphi wins BMW business
DETROIT - Delphi Corp.'s Fuba TV reception will be offered on future BMW cars. The technology enables drivers to experience high-quality signals from the vehicle. The reception is good for AM/FM use and cellular, GPS, TV, satellite and digital services. The Fuba TV reception systems are produced in Germany....
