Dana supplies Nissan Rogue propshafts
TOLEDO, Ohio - Troubled driveline parts supplier Dana Corp. announced yesterday that it is supplying propshafts and auxiliary transmission oil coolers for the Nissan Rogue crossover.
The Nissan business represents a move away from Dana's traditional close ties to the Detroit 3.
The supplier has been in Chapter 11 reorganization since March 2006.
"Dana is proud of its affiliation with Nissan, which today ranks as one of our largest automotive customers,'' Dana CEO Mike Burns said in a statement.
Dana, of Toledo, ranks No. 20 on the Automotive News list of the top 100 global suppliers with worldwide original-equipment automotive parts sales of $8.50 billion in 2006.
