What do Budweiser beer and BMW Z4 roadsters have in common? They're both made in what National Geographic Channel considers "ultimate factories.''

The channel will feature BMW's Spartanburg, S.C., assembly plant on the Thursday, Nov. 29, episode of its "Ultimate Factories'' TV show at 9 p.m. EST.

A team from National Geographic spent a week in Germany filming at BMW's Landshut crankcase factory and at the Munich factory that assembles 1,200 engines a day. Next the film crew went to Spartanburg, where Z4s are manufactured for the world.
