Eberhardt will work on East, West Coasts
Joe Eberhardt, Chrysler's former global sales chief, will be working two jobs.
Eberhardt lost his job in December 2006 after incurring the wrath of the dealer body over inventory but was given a Mercedes dealership in Ontario, Calif.
In January, the LexisNexis Group electronic information service said Eberhardt will become its global chief marketing officer in New York.
A LexisNexis spokeswoman said this week: "LexisNexis is aware of the Mercedes-Benz dealership and does not consider it a conflict.''
