When Ford built a gleaming five-story glass-and-steel headquarters in Irvine, Calif., for its Premier Automotive Group in 1998, it was a sign of confidence in its many luxury brands.
But with Ford selling off all but the Volvo brand and that's likely to happen soon the Ford Land subsidiary has found a new tenant: Taco Bell's world headquarters. At least the lunch counter will be interesting.
