Greek Antenna TV Into Bulgaria.(Brief Article)

Greece's Antenna TV announced its acquisition of stakes in three Bulgarian media companies. Shelling out $3.7 million, Antenna grabbed 100 percent of Nova Television and Multimex and a 94 percent stake in Radio Express.

Nova Television is a 5-year-old private television network that broadcasts 24-hours-a-day, principally to the Sofia region, Bulgaria's capital. With an audience share second only to the government channel, Novas top advertisers are Unilever, CocaCola, Procter & Gamble, Nestle and Kraft-Jacob Suchard. The network's cable coverage includes the four largest cities in Bulgaria.

Multimex's sole activity is to transmit Nova Television programming to the Sofia region.
