Hitachi Software Engineering America Inc. (to market National Biosciences Inc.'s OLIGO software in Japan)_ (Global Software Marketing)

Hitachi Software Engineering America Inc. of San Bruno, Calif., a marketer of software developed by its Japan-based parent company, says it has signed a VAR agreement with National Biosciences Inc. of Plymouth, Minn. The agreement calls for HSEAI to resell National's OLIGO primer analysis software in Japan through Takara Shuzo Co.
Ltd., a Hitachi business partner. OLIGO was developed specifically for advanced DNA primer analysis and should compliment Hitachi's own DNA and protein sequence analysis systems. Hitachi says many researchers have already begun to achieve "advanced results" by using the two programs together.
