New software tracks rapid change in Russia. (D.N. Young & Associates Inc.'s "Who's Who In Russia")

Heads are rolling in Russia where the parliament is on a rampage against President Boris Yeltsin's once rapid reform program.

Last week, to appease hardline communist lawmakers, Yeltsin sacked his reform architect, Prime Minister Yegor Gaidar, who was quickly replaced with compromise "go slow" technocrat Viktor Chernomyrdin. As a result, many more changes in key government ministries and industry are expected as Gaidar's legions of rapid reformers are replaced by Chernomyrdin backers.
