For the third year running, Ernst & Young has been voted the best and most professional international accountancy firm serving the energy industry in an annual poll undertaken by Petroleum Economist magazine. The magazine surveyed and had a high rate of response from the finance departments of all the world's leading oil and gas companies and selected electricity companies in the UK, the USA, Canada and a number of other countries.

Price Waterhouse came second and Arthur Anderson third.
