Power plant order from Vienna.(contract between Siemens Power Generation Group and Wienstrom GmbH)

The Siemens Power Generation Group has received an order for

turnkey construction of the Donaustadt 3 cogeneration district heating

plant in Vienna, Austria. Purchaser is Wienstrom GmbH, a subsidiary of

Wiener Stadtwerke Holding AG. The natural-gas-fired, combined-cycle power

plant will have a total electrical capacity of about 400MW and provide for

the extraction of 250MW of district heat. The new power plant unit will

attain a fuel utilisation factor of more than 86%. The plant's central
