Prentice Hall Law & Business (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) has published "Federal Taxation of Municipal Bonds," a new six-volume reference, including text and computer discs, for research on municipal bond issues. A subscription to the new reference costs $725.
Prepared by editors from the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), the publication includes five loose-leaf volumes and four computer discs. The text volumes cover Internal Revenue Code sections and Treasury regulations relating to municipal bonds, IRS Revenue Rulings, Revenue Procedures, General Counsel Memoranda, federal case law decisions and commentary. The computer discs contain 1800 private letter rulings relating to municipal bond tax issues.
