LEXIS-NEXIS OFFERS ACCESS THROUGH NEW "XCHANGE" SERVICE.

Lexis-Nexis (Dayton, OH), a division of Reed Elsevier, said that legal researchers can now use standard Web browsers to access the Lexis-Nexis databases with the release of the Lexis-Nexis Xchange service located at www.lexis.com.

Lexis-Nexis said the new service is designed to provide a single location on the Web for legal professionals to obtain the latest legal and general news, access practice-specific information and conduct searches. Subscribers to Lexis-Nexis have access through the Internet with the ability to run searches against Lexis-Nexis databases. Features include: basic and advanced search forms; access to "Auto-Cite," "Shepard's" and "Lexcite"; and, "Lexis Case Law Signal."
