In related news, Lexis-Nexis (Dayton, OH) has also launched its own mobile access initiative. The Lexis-Nexis Wireless Pilot Program allows for access to the Shepard's citation service, cases and statutes, features from lexis.com and case law from LexisONE, the company's resource for small-practice attorneys.
During the six-month pilot program, 500 attorneys using a variety of handheld devices will test the system. As a separate initiative, Lexis-Nexis has launched lexisONEWireless.com as a subportal of lexisONE. It incorporates much of the content of PalmLaw.com, a site focusing on the law-related uses of Palm OS handheld devices.
