The American Bar Association's Commission on Mental & Physical Disability Law has released Handbook on Mental Disability Law, a guide to the laws that define the rights and entitlements of persons with mental disabilities. It carries an overview of mental disability law and basic clinical concepts, and includes coverage of such ADA-related mental health issues as employment, housing/zoning, education, insurance, federal entitlements, and self-determination/competancy.
The guide is the third volume of a series that includes Criminal Law Handbook on Mental and Physical Disability Law and the Civil Law Handbook on Mental and Physical Disability Law. The handbook costs $45.
