Primedia Business Magazines and Media (Overland Park, KS) has begun the publication of Transportation Security magazine with a November issue. The title has a controlled circulation of 39,000. It will be published twice in 2003 with frequency expansion in 2004. A spin-off of Primedia's Access Control & Security Systems, the new magazine is designed to be a source of information for news impacting airport security.

AC&SS covers such topics as perimeter security, public services/municipalities, gaming security, public event security, banking and financial security, biometrics, asset tracking, public transport security and major building security.
