Haworth Press (Binghamton, NY) has published Federal Regulatory Research, a book that presents sample pathfinders to help law librarians access and navigate through federal agency laws, regulations, interpretative releases, memoranda and dockets. Subtitled "Selected Agency Knowledge Paths," the book locates and evaluates legal resources with details on information found within a certain resource (indexes, abstracts, catalogs). It discusses entry and update factors that provide specific avenues of research, including: the Department of Education, the EPA, the Federal Reserve, the FTC, the Patent and Trademark Office, and the FDIC. The new volume costs $40.
