Praeger Security International (Westport, CT) has released "The Imperial Presidency and the Consequences of 9/11: Lawyers React to the Global War on Terror," a two-volume set that is a collection of reports, amicus briefs and other materials produced by members of the New York Bar Association relating to the expansion of presidential powers following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

The 23 reports deal with the "rule of law" and the federal government's decisions to expand its powers, and examine such issues as legal powers of the President, the role of courts and legislatures, the relevance of the U.S. Constitution, habeus corpus, and the Geneva Conventions.
