EC approves UGC acquisition of Noos.(Law & Regulation)

European cable giant UGC Europe has been given green light by the European Commission (EC) to buy Noos, France's largest cable operator. UGC is buying the operation from utility group Suez for 660m [euro]. In return Suez will get a 20 per cent stake in UGC's French holding company, Mediareseaux.
