Major change for Malaysian pay TV market.(PRODUCTS)

Malaysia's pay TV market has undergone its second major change in four months with the launch of the Fine TV pay TV service last month (December). Malaysia's third pay TV service commenced operation in the Klang Valley, which includes the country's capital Kuala Lumpur and its surrounding suburbs. Privately-held by Network Guidance, Fine TV is initially offering 18 channels that include movies, animation and music video. The monthly subscription rate is RM 38 ($10) a month and subscribers are required to pay an initial payment of RM 388 ($104), which includes the provision and installation of a set-top box and first month's rental.
