Enhancing the Business Communication Course through WebCT.
Business Communication Quarterly, September, 2001 by Hutchins, Holly M.
DEBATES ABOUT what is best to teach in what is typically a business student's only exposure to a comprehensive communication course often occupy business communication instructors. Some instructors focus primarily on writing reports and making professional presentations. Others present the topic of business communication from a survey perspective, merging the traditional topics of speaking and writing with business meetings, customer service, technology, employment communication, and international/diversity communication. Regardless of the specific design, business communication is perhaps one of few courses that consistently has to reinvent itself as new ideas about resume strategies, technology, and presentation software emerge each semester.
