Accountants like to do things their own way. And Peter Kaufman thinks that his e-Analytics Portal provides firms with the ability to tailor reports to the whims of partners.
"You might have six or seven different partners in the different firms that all might want to see the information differently," says Kaufman.
Kaufman, owner of Miami-based Accpac reseller Dynamics Software Solutions, developed the portal from a tool authored by some Argentinian accountants who had been working with a higher-end system. The end result is the portal, marketed by DSS's sister company, e-Analytics.
The intranet-based system gives users the ability to mine data out of office applications and report on it without needing to run reports. "This enables them to do it all in a browser," notes Kaufman.
