SurePrep Goes with OCR

With workflow applications being fairly new to the market, significant changes are emerging quickly. One of the more noticeable developments is the addition of the optical character recognition, or OCR, option that SurePrep is introducing. "It will eliminate the entering of many data components," says David Wyle, SurePrep's president and CEO.

OCR will be available in the 1040Scan module within SurePrep Express. Pricing for the OCR function will start at about $8.95 per return for up to 25 pages and $14.95 per return for up to 50 pages.
