A Challenging But Highly Successful Tax Season

Tax season 2007 was a challenge, to say the least.

Last August, CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, purchased ATX/Kleinrock, with nearly 45,000 customers in the small CPA and accounting industry. In November, CCH acquired TaxWise, with nearly 10,000 customers as well as 8,400 VITA sites and IRS walk-in offices. In December, CCH Small Firm Services was formed to operate these two product lines.

Then came the tax season...

Amazingly, ATX and TaxWise met this challenging situation with great success. Both ATX and TaxWise delivered federal tax compliance programs on time and without problems. The TaxWise team in Rome, GA, joined with their new ATX colleagues in Caribou, ME and Ft. Pierce, FL, to ensure a flawless tax season for our many customers.
