Thomson Ramps Up its Lineup

In the last few years, Thomson Reuters, which tacked on the name Reuters from its most recent acquisition, has dramatically increased it education line.

The company pulled the well-known MicroMash operations out of the former Thomson Learning, while acquiring Audit Watch, Bell Learning and Pass Online, the latter purchased in March 2006.

The result is a system that has trained more than 200,000 customers through its 900 course offerings in all media, has awarded more than 3 million hours of CPE and, in 2008, will hold about 1,200 instructor-led presentations in 48 states.
