As health advocacy tools and health rating tools spring up across the industry, WellPoint is taking a different angle by focusing on the consumer experience rather than strict quality assessments.

This month, select WellPoint health plans will offer an online survey tool, allowing consumers to share their physician experiences by using Zagat's 30-point scale.

The Zagat tool lets members review and evaluate physicians on the qualities of trust, communication, availability and environment.
