Sanford Katz, an $8.2 million producer formerly with Goldman, Sachs in San Francisco, has moved to the UBS PaineWebber branch at 555 California Street.
Michael L. Clofine and Richard A. Comeau - partners who generated $8 million at Lehman Brother's Park Avenue office in New York - have joined Jefferies & Company's high-net-worth and middle-market brokerage unit.
In the late 1990s, the two worked at UBS Warburg under John Wilson, who now heads Jefferies' retail unit.
Andrew E. Janfaza, who grossed $2.2 million at Goldman, Sachs in Boston, has joined Deutsche Bank Securities there. He was previously an executive with Reebok International.
