Robert Wolf is taking over as chairman and chief executive officer of UBS Americas-positions previously held by Mark B. Sutton, who is retiring. Wolf will retain his current role as chief operating officer of UBS's global investment bank.
Smith Barney has hired three advisors from UBS Financial Services in New York. The team-composed of brothers Neil I. Canell and Jay B. Canell, and their partner, Justin A. Dembo-oversees $1.5 billion in assets. They join the 666 Third Ave. branch, which is managed by R. Scott Abry.
