Canada's Aeroplan has been busy on the partnership front, roping in both Bell Canada and Sol Melia as miles-earning partners.
Aeroplan members can earn 1 mile for every C$1 spent on Bell services (including residential phone, long distance, Sympatico, Mobility and ExpressVu). To enroll, Bell customers simply register online at bell.ca.
And members who book stays at any of Sol Melia's five hotel brands (Melia Hotels and Resorts, Tryp Hotels, Sol Hotels, Paradisus Resorts and Hard Rock Hotels) will now earn miles based on the length of their stay. Depending on the hotel brand, a 6-night stay will net between 250 and 500 miles per room, and stays of 7 nights or more earn between 750 and 1,000 miles per room.
