Illinois Credit Unions have a better idea of how to "Put on the Ritz" at their own CUs after their league's three-day annual convention last month, which 30 educational sessions.

Dan Clark, who fought back a paralyzing injury that cut short his football career, gave a moving keynote address about how small, proactive changes can make a huge difference.

Among the issues discussed during the league delegates meeting were Project Differentiation and the benefits of participating in the Community Investment Fund through the Illinois and the national CU foundations. Steve Goldberg, of CUNA Mutual Group, presented his "Small Credit Union Thriving Series,"' while Denise Wymore, of Paradox Productions, Dallas, talked about the myths and facts of pricing strategies.
