Treasury Touts Benefits Of Direct Deposit In Ads

The Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve last week rolled out a nationwide campaign urging Americans to use direct deposit for Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and other federal benefit payments. Called "Go Direct," the campaign reflects Treasury's longstanding efforts to shift from paper payments to the safer, easier and more secure option of direct deposit.
