CMG Consolidates Collateral Protection Support

CUNA Mutual Group plans to consolidate support functions for its Collateral Protection Insurance product line from the 11 offices currently providing support into one larger Customer Operations Center here. A company spokesperson said no decision has been made on the fate of those 11 locations or their employees, who provide product administration, call center and claims support.

Plans are to expand the LoanLink Center that is jointly owned by CUNA Mutual and state leagues as part of a drive announced in April by CUNA Mutual CEO Jeff Post to reinvent customer service, while also cutting costs. The center is to be operational by year-end. "Right now, we don't know the timing or the employees who will potentially be affected," CUNA Mutual spokesperson Rick Uhlman said. (c)...
