Longstanding Credit Union ONE employee Harry Nowell will celebrate his 90th birthday on July 8.
Harry Nowell, born in Montreal, Quebec in 1918, began working at Credit Union ONE in 1981, the third career in his lifetime. Nowell, came to live in the U.S. when he was eight years old, graduated from Central High School in Detroit, and acquired his citizenship as a young adult. Following his service in World War II, he went to work for Ford Hospital and retired as assistant to the chief of maintenance in 1968, but came out of retirement to take over management of a manufacturing facility in Davison, Mich.
