Perkins confirms race licence sale.

V8 Supercar team owner, Larry Perkins, has confirmed that he has sold his race licences to Queensland businessman and fellow team owner, Craig Gore, effective from the end of the season.

However, the sale of the Level One licences will not affect the future operation of Perkins Engineering or Perkins Motorsport.

"It will be business as usual," Perkins said. "Arrangements are in place to continue our race plans in the same manner as we have always done.

"Our commitment to major sponsors Castrol and Holden remain totally unaffected while the nucleus of our team personnel and driver line-up will also be unchanged. Obviously, our focus at this stage is clearly aimed at Bathurst next week where the Perkins team has demonstrated strong performances in past years."
