Former Indy 500 winning teams Hemelgarn Racing and Red Bull Cheever Racing have filed their entries for the 89th running of the Indianapolis 500.
IndyCar Series returnees and 1996 Indy 500 winners Hemelgarn Racing have filed a singleton Dallara-Toyota for rookie driver Paul Dana while 1998 winner Eddie Cheever has two Dallara-Toyotas for Patrick Carpentier and Alex Barron.
Teams wishing to enter the May 29th event have until April 6th to postmark their entries. Team owners Cheever and Ron Hemelgarn become the second and third entrants to officially file their entries after Panther Racing.
