Baylistic pole.

Determined to spoil the fun for the British contingent this weekend is Troy Bayliss on the Xerox Ducati, and he has started by securing pole position and shoving James Toseland into second place.

The Hannspree Ten Kate Honda rider was only beaten by 0.028secs but it was enough to lose out on pole position.

Next to the Championship leader on the front row is Noriyuki Haga on the Yamaha Italia and he is joined by his good friend and Suzuka Eight Hour winner, Yukio Kagayama on the Alstare Corona Extra Suzuki.

"This weekend is going to be great," said Bayliss, "I'll wait and see how it goes but there are a lot of fast guys at the front. James is in a great position and wants a great result but Brands can bite back if you are not careful. Points wise he doesn't...
