Marshall: We made some good progress...

IRWIN Racing's Marcus Marshall believes that they are heading in the 'right direction' now following the inaugural Sprint Gas V8 Supercar Manufacturers Challenge at the ING Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne last weekend.

Although Marshall had a disappointing event - and only took 26th place in race 1, 22nd in race 2 and 22nd in the final race of the weekend, he was happier with the changes made to his Falcon following a disastrous start when he spun and crashed out in the opening race.

Indeed he believes that the race package is now getting a lot closer to its proper potential.
