Female face of Silverstone race revealed.

Silverstone has announced that Gemma Garrett will be the female face of the 2008 British Grand Prix, which takes place the Northamptonshire venue next month.

Garrett, who was recently voted as the 2008 Miss Great Britain, will become an ambassador for the event on 6 July where home favourites Lewis Hamilton, David Coulthard and Jenson Button will look to impress in front of a sell-out home crowd.

The event will also be the celebration of 60 years since the first British Grand Prix at Silverstone, with a none-championship event being held at the venue in 1948 and also ...
