Portimao gearing up for WSBK arrival.

Organisers of the new Autodromo do Algarve insist it is on course for completion ahead of its international debut when it hosts the final round of the World Superbike Championship.

The Portimao track in Portugal is currently embarking on a race against time before the World Superbikes arrive on November 2nd, as much of the building work is yet to be completed in and around the circuit.

Nonetheless, Circuit CEO Paulo Pinheiro believes they are on course for a mid-October completion date so long as they don't come across any insurmountable problems ...
