They are names on a paper for the most part, nothing more, and there is an unqualified need here to acknowledge the danger inherent in those two words: on paper. Still, you look at the list - Reggie Brown, Donté Stallworth, Greg Lewis, Hank Baskett, Jason Avant - and add up the combination of size, speed, potential and demonstrated production, and it is not hard to conclude that this group of receivers is better than the groups surrounding Donovan McNabb in every year except one.
(You know which one.) That said, why do we all keep looking up and waiting for Antonio Freeman to fall out of the sky?
