Grateful Eagles fans can send their thanks to 12-year-old Skyler Mornhinweg. "I saw Marty's son in the training room, he was getting some rehab during the week, and I told him that he needed to tell his dad to run the ball more," Brian Westbrook said after the Eagles' 27-3 victory over a Washington Redskins team that could do little right yesterday.
"I credit his son for that." It was a clutch suggestion by Westbrook given that he didn't know on Thursday that Andy Reid was ceding play-calling responsibilities to his offensive coordinator. Apparently, no one knew, outside the coaching staff. Westbrook just figured Mornhinweg at least had some input. Presumably, none of Reid's three sons was getting treatment, so Westbrook couldn't ask them. Skyler's game plan (and yes, we're kidding here, before you start the e-mailing) called for Westbrook to match a career high with 22 carries, totaling 113 ...
