J IM CRAMER , the Montgomery County-reared host of CNBC's "Mad Money," has raised eyebrows after admitting during an interview with TheStreet.com that he manipulated stock prices during his days working as a trader.

Cramer boasted about manipulating stock prices and acknowledges that doing so may have been illegal, the  New York Post 's  Roddy Boyd  reported yesterday.

"A lot of times when I was short, I would create a level of activity beforehand that would drive the futures . . . It's a fun game," Cramer said in the Webcast, which was moderated by TheStreet.com's  Aaron Task .
