It wasn't yet dawn on Aug. 1, but a tea kettle was already whistling inside Anna Trabucco's kitchen.
Unbeknowst to Trabucco, three devious teens were staking out her West Philadelphia home, waiting to strike.
At about 5:40 a.m., the teens burst through her rear basement door, stormed up to the first floor and shoved a handgun against the 76-year-old woman's chin.
The brash young thieves fled with $80, but the thrill of their heist was short-lived. One suspect is already behind bars, and police issued an arrest warrant yesterday for the alleged ringleader, Lugman Garvin, 18, of 64th Street near Girard Avenue. They did not have enough information on the third thief to issue a warrant.
This is not the first brush with the law for Garvin, who is wanted for robbery and related offenses.
