THREE WEEKS AGO, it was duly noted here that winless Temple was entering a four-game stretch in which every one appeared to be winnable. So, it was suggested that it might be a good time for the Owls to go out and win some.
Guess what?
They'll take their first two-game winning streak since 2002 into Saturday's home date against Miami of Ohio (4-3, 3-0 Mid-American Conference). They haven't won three straight in one season since 1990. And for those who need to know, they have won four straight only once since 1979.
