ANY STRONG, ambitious woman will tell you that being called a b---- goes with the territory, so to speak. And when they really despise you, you get called the c-word.
After yesterday's column, which mentioned Jane Fonda 's mention of this vulgarity on the "Today Show," I got an e-mail from a reader who claimed that if you type "define: c---" into Google that Hillary 's name would appear. No way, I thought, before following the e-mailer's instructions. (I spelled out the vulgarity instead of using dashes.) And sure enough, a definition appeared that said, "A woman who is thoroughly disliked." Oddly enough, the site's example of the word in a sentence was "She said her son thought Hillary was a bitch."
