Media pundits who are creating the playbook for this historical presidential race are ruining the best Democratic presidential race in my adult life.

In the debate in our great city, ABC spent nearly an hour grilling the candidates on non-issues with questions that had nothing to do with the economy, Iraq, crime, education, health care or urban America.

The electronic media plays out-of-context sound bites again and again and again, blowing even newsworthy things way out of proportion.

And as the  Daily News  editorial  "It's Over . . . But It's Not Finished" (April 23)  so...
