0 Comments | Philadelphia Daily News, June, 2008
The remaining draft picks for the Flyers were released yesterday.
In addition to the 27th pick in the first round, the Flyers will select 118th, 178th and 208th in rounds four, six and seven, respectively.
The Flyers do not have picks in rounds 2, 3 and 5.
Philadelphia traded its second-round pick to Washington on draft day last year for prospect Kevin Marshall, a defenseman currently in the Quebec Major Junior League. The Flyers dealt their third-rounder to Los Angeles in February for Jaroslav Modry and sent their fifth-rounder to the Islanders in a 2006 trade for Mike York.
This year's draft will take place in Ottawa. The first round is Friday, June 20. Rounds 2 through 7 will be held the following day. Tampa Bay has the first overall pick. *
