Penn State hasn't named QB starter yet

And the starting quarterback for Penn State in Saturday's season opener against Coastal Carolina will be . . .
Guess we'll all have to wait to see who runs out onto the field to take the first snap.
The Penn State office of sports information released its Week 1 depth chart yesterday afternoon, and it reflects the tight battles being waged for several starting positions. One of those, not unexpectedly, is at quarterback, between senior Daryll Clark and redshirt sophomore Pat Devlin. Coach Joe Paterno has not publicly desigated a starter.
Another position that remains up for grabs is right cornerback, where neither senior Lydell Sargeant nor junior A.J. Wallace has separated himself from the other to this point.
But there are some mild surprises elsewhere...
