The often overlooked hotel brand called Four Points by Sheraton (877/782-0020, www.fourpoints.com/summer) has just announced its all-time lowest summer-weekend rates at its rather upscale (for a mid-range brand) hotels in major metropolitan areas. Four Points has impressive amenities that most other under-$100 hotels lack (like full-service restaurants, room service, swimming pools, and fitness centers), for which it has agreed to accept as little as $49 for a double room until September 14, if booked by August 15.
