Dolphins rout Cowboys, Lions upset Packers on US Thanksgiving

DALLAS, Texas, (AFP) — Jay Fiedler and Chris Chambers had a memorable Thanksgiving Day. But it was quite forgettable for Bill Parcells and Brett Favre.
Making his first start in more than a month, Fiedler passed for three touchdowns - all to Chambers - and ran for another score to lead the Miami Dolphins to a 40-21 rout of the Dallas Cowboys.
The National Football League schedule makers were not kind to the Dolphins, who played less than 92 hours after Fiedler came off the bench and rallied them to a 24-23 victory Sunday night over Washington.
They looked anything but tired on Thursday and enjoyed their highest-scoring game since getting 49 points against Detroit in the 2002 season opener.
